  Security Policy

It is my purpose, as the creator of this software and the individual responsible for the web site to do nothing that would have an adverse effect on you or me. While I may be able to control my part of the total equation, you must understand the limitations faced and how they affect you.

I have put nothing in these pages to manipulate your browser, I'm not using cookies or any other hidden routines except those necessary to get your support or registration/order input. You can verify this by examining the pages yourself. I can't; however, vouch for Microsoft or my ISP, or the rest of the Internet. I have no reason to distrust my ISP, but we all know where we stand with Microsoft and the Internet as a whole.

I have provided a secure page for registration/order processing, but I see no necessity for such protection on any entries you might make to my support forum.

As far as PDMSB is concerned, my software activity is restricted to the installation directory as much as it can be under present Operating System procedures. I object to the Microsoft concept of a System Registry, so I only use it where necessary. I use local files for most of the things that other people put in the Registry. I also object to common usage of DLLs, so all my DLLs reside in the PDMSB\dll directory. Because other software people have followed Microsoft directions, however; I must put some files in the system directory. My file management routines come from Pervasive and my bitmap routine come from Lead Technologies. I can't change the location of these files without a change of policy by Microsoft and/or the others.

If you have any questions regarding security and/or any other part of this web site or my PDMSB software, please post my support forum or e-mail me directly.

Thanks
